Though English is the language spoken by the international community, learning a second language can be a rewarding experience, and the more languages one can speak, the better opportunity one will have in many ways.

The younger a person is, the easier it is for them to pick up a new language. Below are some of the benefits of teaching your child two languages:

Better test performance: Studies have shown that students with more than four years of experience in a foreign language perform better than monolingual students.

Better brain development: Learning a new language helps in building the brain muscles. Learning a new language is like having workouts for the brain.

More opportunities for college and careers: Colleges and international companies increasingly value the ability to speak more languages. With the economic activities keep on increasing globally, more and more opportunities are opened for those who can communicate outside the English language.

More confidence in traveling: One of the best ways for someone to get comfortable with you is to communicate with them in their mother tongue. Traveling overseas can be a more rewarding experience if you are comfortable with the language of your destination.
